🧾 Ingredients

🥩 Meatballs

  • 500g ground beef or chicken

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or coriander

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

🍅 Tomato Sauce

  • 2 cups tomato puree or crushed tomatoes

  • 2 tbsp oil or butter

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1/2 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning

🍝 Pasta

  • 250–300g spaghetti

  • Water + salt for boiling


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make meatballs

  • Mix all meatball ingredients in a bowl.

  • Form medium-size balls.

  • Fry in a pan with a little oil until browned (not fully cooked yet). Set aside.

2️⃣ Cook sauce

  • Heat oil in a pan → sauté onion until soft.

  • Add garlic → cook 30 seconds.

  • Add tomato puree, sugar, salt, pepper, oregano.

  • Simmer 10 minutes.

3️⃣ Cook meatballs in sauce

  • Add meatballs to sauce.

  • Cover and simmer 15–20 minutes until fully cooked.

4️⃣ Boil spaghetti

  • Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until tender.

  • Drain and add to the sauce pan.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Toss spaghetti with sauce.

  • Top with meatballs & extra herbs or cheese 🤌


⭐ Quick Tips

  • Want softer meatballs? Add 2 tbsp milk to mixture.

  • For creamy version → stir in 2 tbsp cream at the end.

  • For one-pan method → cook spaghetti directly in sauce with extra water.
