For the gravy & topping:
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

- Make the patties
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, and seasonings.
- Form into thick oval or round patties (like in the image).
- Optional sear (adds flavor)
- Brown patties in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side.
