🥔 Slow Cooker Hamburger & Potato Casserole
🛒 Ingredients

1½–2 lbs ground beef

4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)

½ cup milk
-
1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Prep the beef (recommended step)
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess grease.(You can add it raw like in the picture, but browning first gives better flavor and texture.)

Layer the crockpot

Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray.

Layer half the sliced potatoes on the bottom.

Add half the cooked beef mixture.

Repeat layers.

Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix cream soup, milk, salt, pepper, and seasoning. Pour evenly over everything. -
Cook

Low: 6–7 hours
-
High: 3–4 hours
Potatoes should be fork-tender.

Add cheese
Sprinkle cheddar on top during the last 20–30 minutes. Cover until melted.
