Ingredients

Pasta & Shrimp

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or spaghetti)

Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Topping

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley


Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.

  • Drain and set aside.


2. Cook the Shrimp

  1. Heat olive oil + butter in a large skillet.

  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

  3. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.

  4. Remove shrimp and set aside.


3. Make the Sauce

In the same pan add:

  • heavy cream

  • chicken broth

  • parmesan cheese

  • lemon juice

  • lemon zest

  • salt, pepper, red pepper flakes

Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.


4. Combine

  • Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce.

  • Toss gently until everything is coated.


5. Assemble the Bake

  • Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.

In a small bowl mix:

  • mozzarella

  • parmesan

  • breadcrumbs

  • melted butter

Sprinkle this topping evenly over the pasta.


6. Bake

  • Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.


7. Garnish

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley before serving.
