Orange Creamsicle Truffles

🍊 Orange Creamsicle Truffles

These soft, citrusy truffles taste just like the classic orange creamsicle—sweet, creamy, and refreshing with a hint of vanilla. They’re no-bake, easy to make, and perfect for parties, holidays, or a quick sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups vanilla wafer crumbs (or crushed shortbread/vanilla cookies)

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar (plus extra for coating)

  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

  • 2–3 tablespoons fresh orange juice

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (for drizzle)

  • Optional: 1–2 drops orange food coloring

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla wafer crumbs, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything forms a smooth, soft dough.

2️⃣ Shape the truffles

Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into small balls using your hands.

3️⃣ Chill

Place the balls on a lined tray and refrigerate for 30–45 minutes so they firm up.

4️⃣ Coat with powdered sugar

Roll each chilled ball in powdered sugar to give that snowy coating.

5️⃣ Add the white chocolate drizzle

Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Drizzle over the truffles using a spoon or piping bag.

6️⃣ Let them set

Allow the chocolate to set for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Storage:

  • Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 5 days.

  • They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.

Tip: Add ½ teaspoon orange extract for a stronger creamsicle flavor.
