Ingredients

Orange Cake

  • 1 box white or vanilla cake mix

Creamsicle Filling

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 3½–4 cups powdered sugar

  • 2 tbsp orange juice

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Grease a 9×13-inch pan.

    • Mix cake mix with box ingredients, replacing water with orange soda or juice.

    • Stir in orange zest and vanilla.

    • Bake according to box directions.

    • Cool completely.

  2. Make the filling

    • Whisk pudding mix with milk until thick.

    • Fold in whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.

  3. Poke & fill
