Ingredients

For the Meatloaf:

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/3 cup ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 cup ketchup

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp mustard


Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet or lightly grease a loaf pan.

2️⃣ Mix

In a large bowl, combine all meatloaf ingredients.
Mix gently — don’t overwork the meat or it gets dense.

3️⃣ Shape

Form into a loaf on a baking sheet (preferred for crispy edges) or press into loaf pan.

4️⃣ Add Glaze (Optional)

Mix glaze ingredients and spread over top.

5️⃣ Bake

Bake 50–60 minutes, until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).

Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter (or meat drippings)

  • 3 tbsp flour

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Whisk in flour and cook 1–2 minutes (light brown).

  3. Slowly whisk in beef broth.

  4. Add seasonings and simmer 5–7 minutes until thick.

If too thick → add broth.
If too thin → simmer longer.
