  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or both)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (or fresh thyme for garnish)
  • Optional: grated parmesan for topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep Potatoes

  • Peel and slice potatoes very thin (use a knife or slicer).
  • Keep slices uniform for even cooking.

2. Make Cream Mixture

  • In a bowl, mix:
    • Heavy cream
    • Garlic
    • Salt, pepper, herbs

3. Assemble

  • Grease a muffin tray.
  • Stack potato slices in each cup, layering with:
    • Cream mixture
    • Cheese
  • Repeat layers until cups are full.
  • Brush tops with melted butter and add extra cheese.

4. Bake

  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–45 minutes
until golden brown and crispy on top.

5. Serve

  • Let cool slightly, then remove carefully.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.

💡 Tips

  • For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
  • Add a drizzle of honey or garlic butter on top for that glossy finish (like in the picture 😍).
  • You can also add cooked chicken or mushrooms between layers.
