Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Potato Rounds
Ingredients
-
2–3 medium russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
-
1½–2 tbsp olive oil
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp paprika (optional but recommended)
-
½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano
-
2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
-
⅓ cup grated Parmesan (freshly grated = best crisp)
-
Optional garnish: fresh parsley, extra Parmesan, red pepper flakes
Instructions
-
Prep the potatoes
Wash and slice potatoes into ¼-inch thick rounds. Try to keep them even so they cook uniformly. -
Season
In a bowl, toss potato rounds with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and garlic until well coated. -
Air fry – first round
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange potatoes in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip. -
Add the Parmesan magic
Sprinkle Parmesan evenly over the potatoes.
Air fry for another 6–8 minutes, until golden, crispy on the edges, and tender inside. -
Finish & serve
Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley or extra cheese if you’re feeling fancy.
Pro Tips
-
Want them extra crispy? Soak sliced potatoes in cold water for 20–30 minutes, then dry really well before seasoning.
-
For a buttery vibe, toss with a teaspoon of melted butter after cooking.
-
These slap with garlic aioli, ranch, or spicy mayo on the side.
