🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

For the Pasta

  • 8 oz (225 g) fettuccine or spaghetti

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Optional: pinch red pepper flakes

  • Extra parsley for garnish


👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  3. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.


2. Cook the Chicken

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add chicken pieces and cook 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  4. Remove chicken and set aside.


3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. In the same pan melt butter.

  2. Add garlic and cook about 30 seconds.

  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream.

  4. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  5. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted.

  6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat in the sauce.


4. Make Creamy Parmesan Pasta

  1. In another pan melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and cook briefly.

  3. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 2 minutes.

  4. Add parmesan, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning.

  5. Toss pasta in sauce.

  6. Add a little reserved pasta water if needed for creaminess.


5. Assemble

  • Plate the creamy pasta.

  • Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan.
