Fluffy Homemade Dinner Rolls
Makes 12 soft rolls
Ingredients

3½ cups (440 g) all-purpose flour

2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)

¼ cup (50 g) sugar

¾ cup (180 ml) warm milk

1 egg (room temperature)

¼ cup (60 g) butter, melted

1 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Activate Yeast

Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast
-
Let sit 5 minutes until foamy
2. Make the Dough
-
Add egg, melted butter, and salt
-
Gradually mix in flour
-
Knead until soft and elastic
-
8–10 min by hand
-
5–6 min mixer
-
Dough should be slightly tacky, not sticky.
3. First Rise

Place dough in greased bowl, cover

Rise 1–1½ hours until doubled
4. Shape Rolls
-
Punch down dough
-
Divide into 12 equal pieces
-
Roll into smooth balls
-
Place in greased baking dish, slightly touching
5. Second Rise
-
Cover and rise 30–45 minutes until puffy
6. Bake
-
Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 18–22 minutes
-
Tops should be lightly golden
7. Finish

Brush hot rolls with melted butter

Try not to eat all of them immediately 😅
