🥔 Creamy Slow Cooker Potatoes (Pour-Over Method)

You’ll need

  • 2½–3 lbs potatoes, quartered (Yukon Gold or red = best texture)

Whisk together:

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth (or veg broth)

  • 3 tbsp melted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp dried thyme or rosemary

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan (optional but 🔥)


⏲️ Slow Cooker Instructions

  1. Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray

  2. Add raw quartered potatoes

  3. Pour the mixture evenly over potatoes

  4. Stir once to coat

  5. Cover and cook:

    • LOW: 5–6 hours

    • HIGH: 3–4 hours

  6. Stir gently once halfway if you can


🧀 Extra Creamy Finish (optional but recommended)

Last 30 minutes, stir in:

  • ½–1 cup shredded cheddar, Gruyère, or mozzarella

Leave lid off last 15 minutes if you want it thicker.
