Creamy Italian Chicken
Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

Salt & black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil
-
2 tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup chicken broth
-
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tsp dried basil or oregano
-
Optional add-ins: sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms
Instructions
1. Season & sear the chicken

Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden.

Remove chicken and set aside.
2. Make the creamy sauce
-
In the same pan, melt butter.
-
Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits.

Add cream, Parmesan, basil/oregano, and red pepper flakes.

Simmer gently 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
3. Finish the dish

Return chicken to the pan.

Simmer uncovered 8–10 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.

Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes in the last few minutes if using.
