  • 1 cup small macaroni pasta

  • 1 carrot โ€” diced

  • 1 small onion โ€” chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves โ€” minced

  • 3 cups beef or chicken broth

  • 2 tbsp butter or oil

  • 2 tbsp flour
