Ingredients

500 g ground beef (or ground chicken)

3–4 medium potatoes (peeled & diced)

1 small onion (chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 cup canned corn (drained)

1 cup canned beans (kidney / black / baked beans)

1 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
-
½ cup beef or chicken broth
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp cumin powder
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
Salt to taste

1 tsp dried oregano or mixed herbs

1½–2 cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp oil
Method
1️⃣ Brown the meat (important)

Heat oil in a pan.

Add onion and garlic, sauté till soft.

Add ground meat + salt.

Cook till browned. (This adds BIG flavor.)
2️⃣ Assemble in slow cooker
Add to slow cooker:

Cooked meat

Potatoes
-
Corn
-
Beans
-
Tomato sauce
-
Broth
-
All spices
Mix everything well.
3️⃣ Slow cook

LOW: 6–7 hours

HIGH: 3–4 hours
(until potatoes are tender)
4️⃣ Add cheese

Sprinkle cheese on top.

Cover and cook 15–20 minutes more until melted.
