Classic Seafood Salad

Here’s a fresh, creamy Seafood Salad recipe that’s perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or lettuce cups.

🦐 Classic Seafood Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb imitation crab meat (or cooked shrimp, chopped)

  • ½ lb cooked shrimp, peeled & chopped (optional but recommended)

  • ½ cup finely diced celery

  • 2–3 tbsp finely diced red onion

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1–2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: pinch of Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

  1. Prep seafood: Chop imitation crab and shrimp into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Mix dressing: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon, herbs, salt, pepper, and Old Bay.

  3. Combine: Fold in seafood, celery, and red onion until evenly coated.

  4. Chill: Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour for best flavor.

  5. Serve: On croissants, sandwich rolls, over greens, or with crackers.

🥬 Lighter Version

  • Replace half (or all) of the mayo with Greek yogurt.

  • Add diced cucumber for extra freshness.

🌶 Spicy Version

  • Add 1–2 teaspoons sriracha.

  • Stir in finely diced jalapeño.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
