🛒 Ingredients
Base Layer

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter

½ cup (100g) brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups (270g) rolled oats

1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt
Caramel Layer

1 (11 oz / 300g) bag soft caramels (or caramel bits)

¼ cup (60ml) heavy cream
Top Layer

1½ cups (250g) milk chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)

½ cup chopped peanuts (optional but recommended)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Base

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Stir in brown sugar and vanilla.

Remove from heat and mix in oats, flour, and salt.

Press 2/3 of the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven.
2️⃣ Make the Caramel Layer

In a saucepan, melt caramels with heavy cream over low heat.

Stir until smooth and fully melted.

Pour evenly over the baked base.
3️⃣ Add Remaining Oat Crumble

Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the caramel (don’t press down too hard).
Bake again for 15–18 minutes until golden.
4️⃣ Chocolate Topping

Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

Let sit 3–5 minutes to soften.

Spread evenly with a spatula.

Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
