Chocolate Cake, Vanilla Cake, Red Velvet Cake, and Cheesecake. Each makes one 8–9 inch cake.


🍫 Chocolate Cake (Moist & Rich)

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 1¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour

  • ¾ cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 cups (400g) sugar

  • 1½ tsp baking powder

  • 1½ tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup (240ml) milk

  • ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup (240ml) hot coffee or hot water

Chocolate Buttercream:

  • 1 cup (226g) butter, softened

  • 3 cups powdered sugar

  • ½ cup cocoa powder

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch pans.

  2. Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil, vanilla.

  3. Stir in hot coffee (batter will be thin).

  4. Bake 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.

  5. Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy. Frost and assemble.


🎂 Vanilla Cake (Soft & Fluffy)

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 2½ cups flour

  • 2½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1¾ cups sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup milk

Vanilla Buttercream:

  • 1 cup butter

  • 3–4 cups powdered sugar

  • 2–3 tbsp milk

  • 2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare pans.

  2. Cream butter and sugar until light.

  3. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk.

  5. Bake 25–30 minutes. Cool fully.

  6. Beat frosting ingredients and decorate.


❤️ Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 2½ cups flour

  • 1½ cups sugar

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1½ cups vegetable oil

  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 2 tbsp red food coloring

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp white vinegar

Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese

  • ½ cup butter

  • 3 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix dry ingredients.

  3. Whisk wet ingredients separately.

  4. Combine wet and dry until smooth.

  5. Bake 30–35 minutes. Cool.

  6. Beat frosting until creamy. Frost generously.


🍓 Classic Cheesecake (New York Style)

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • ½ cup melted butter

Filling:

  • 24 oz (680g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).

  2. Mix crust ingredients. Press into 9-inch springform pan. Bake 10 minutes.

  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

  4. Add eggs one at a time.

  5. Mix in sour cream, vanilla, lemon juice.

  6. Pour over crust.

  7. Bake 55–70 minutes (center slightly jiggly).

  8. Turn oven off, crack door, cool 1 hour. Chill at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
