Cheesy Beef Stuffed Rolls

Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • ½ small onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)

For the Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
    (or 1 lb homemade pizza dough)

For the Top:

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan

  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley


Instructions

1. Prepare Filling

  • Brown ground beef with onion until fully cooked. Drain grease.

  • Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

  • Stir in marinara, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt & pepper.

  • Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.


2. Prepare Dough

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Roll dough into a rectangle.

  • Cut into 8 equal rectangles.


3. Fill & Roll

  • Add 2–3 tablespoons beef mixture to center of each piece.

  • Sprinkle generously with mozzarella.

  • Roll up tightly, pinching seams closed.

  • Place seam-side down on lined baking sheet.


4. Brush & Bake

  • Mix melted butter with garlic powder.

  • Brush over rolls.

  • Sprinkle Parmesan and parsley on top.

Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.


Optional Variations

  • Add diced pepperoni for pizza-style

  • Mix in cooked mushrooms or bell peppers

  • Use cheddar or provolone instead of mozzarella

  • Serve with warm marinara for dipping
