This cheddar cheese bread is soft inside, golden on top, and crazy easy.
🧀 Cheddar Cheese Bread (No-Yeast, Quick Bread)
🧾 Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt
-
1 tbsp sugar (optional, balances flavor)

1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup milk
-
⅓ cup melted butter or oil

1 egg
-
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

½ tsp paprika or black pepper (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.

Dry ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, garlic powder, and paprika. -
Cheese:
Stir in shredded cheddar, coating it with flour. -
Wet ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk milk, butter/oil, and egg. -
Combine:
Add wet ingredients to dry. Mix just until combined (don’t overmix). -
Bake:
Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle extra cheddar on top if you like.
Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. -
Cool:
Rest 10 minutes, then slice and enjoy.
