Set aside (don’t skip tasting — adjust heat or sweetness).

2. Prep the salmon

  • Brush lightly with olive oil.

3. Cook the salmon (choose your method)

Pan-Seared (best crust)

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high.

  • Cook salmon skin-side down 4–5 minutes.

  • Flip and cook 2–3 minutes more.

Oven-Baked

  • Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 12–15 minutes.

Air Fryer

  • 390°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

4. Bang Bang it

  • Spoon or brush sauce generously over the salmon.

  • Optional: broil 1–2 minutes for sticky caramelized edges.

How to Serve

  • Over jasmine rice or coconut rice

  • With roasted broccoli or snap peas

  • In tacos with slaw 🤌

Pro Tips

  • Like it extra crispy? Lightly dust salmon with cornstarch before cooking.

  • Want lighter? Swap half the mayo for Greek yogurt.

  • Too spicy? Add more honey or mayo.

If you want a crispy breaded version, Bang Bang shrimp-style glaze, or a meal-prep friendly bowl, just say the word 😄
