    • egg

    • milk

    • garlic powder

    • onion powder

    • salt & pepper

    • Worcestershire sauce

  2. Mix gently and form 6 thick round patties.


2. Brown the patties

  1. Heat a skillet with a little oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Sear patties 2–3 minutes per side until browned (not fully cooked).


3. Prepare the onion gravy

  1. In the same pan melt butter.

  2. Add sliced onions and cook 5–7 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized.

  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Stir in:

    • beef broth

    • soy sauce

    • Worcestershire sauce

    • brown sugar

  5. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.


4. Assemble and bake

  1. Line a baking dish with foil (like the picture).

  2. Place patties in the dish.

  3. Pour the onion gravy over the patties and top with onions.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes.


5. Thicken the gravy

  1. Remove patties temporarily.
