Amish Cinnamon Bread (Soft, Sweet Cinnamon Swirl Loaf)
Amish Cinnamon Bread is a soft, sweet quick bread with a rich cinnamon-sugar swirl and a slightly crunchy top. The great thing about this recipe is no yeast and no kneading, so it’s easy and beginner-friendly.
Ingredients
For the Bread Batter

Instructions
1. Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl mix:

Flour

Sugar
-
Baking soda
-
Salt
3. Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl whisk:

Buttermilk
-
Egg
-
Vegetable oil
-
Vanilla extract
4. Combine Batter

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients.

Mix gently until smooth.

Do not overmix.
5. Prepare Cinnamon Sugar
In a small bowl mix:

⅓ cup sugar

1–2 tsp cinnamon
6. Layer the Bread

Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.

Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar on top.

Add the remaining batter.

Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar.

Use a knife to lightly swirl the cinnamon mixture through the batter.
7. Bake

Bake for 45–55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
8. Optional Topping

Brush top with melted butter.
