Pork Chop Supreme (Classic Baked)
Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about ¾–1 inch thick)

Salt & black pepper

Garlic powder (optional but recommended)

1 tablespoon oil or butter

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

½ cup milk or chicken broth
-
Optional add-ins:

Sliced mushrooms
-
Paprika or dried thyme
-
A splash of Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Season the pork chops generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Brown the chops
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden (don’t cook through). -
Arrange in baking dish
Place chops in a single layer. Scatter sliced onions (and mushrooms if using) over the top. -
Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk/broth.
Add a pinch of pepper and any optional seasonings. -
Pour sauce over chops
Make sure everything is nicely coated. -
Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, until pork is tender and reaches 145°F internal temp.

Rest 5 minutes before serving so the sauce thickens up.
