🍝 Easy Meat Lasagna
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or beef + Italian sausage)

1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce

9–12 lasagna noodles (regular or oven-ready)

15 oz ricotta cheese
-
1 large egg
-
2 cups shredded mozzarella
-
½ cup grated Parmesan
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt & pepper
-
Olive oil
Instructions
1. Cook the meat

Heat a little olive oil in a skillet.

Brown ground beef with garlic, salt, and pepper.

Drain excess grease.
-
Stir in marinara and Italian seasoning. Simmer 5 minutes.
2. Mix the cheese
In a bowl, combine:

Ricotta
-
Egg
-
½ cup mozzarella
-
Parmesan
-
Pinch of salt & pepper
3. Assemble
In a greased 9×13 dish:

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce.

Layer noodles.
-
Spread ricotta mixture.
-
Spoon meat sauce.
-
Sprinkle mozzarella.
Repeat layers (usually 3), ending with sauce + mozzarella on top.
4. Bake

Cover with foil (spray foil so cheese doesn’t stick)
-
Bake at 375°F / 190°C for 35 minutes
-
Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden
-
Rest 10 minutes before slicing (important!)

Add Italian sausage for more flavor

Layer in spinach or mushrooms

Use cottage cheese instead of ricotta for lighter texture

Sprinkle parsley or basil on top
