🍓 Strawberry Fluff Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz) box strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)dry

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip, thawed

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1–2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped (or frozen, thawed & drained)

  • 1 (15 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained very well

  • Optional add-ins:

    • ½ cup cottage cheese (classic, but optional)

    • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.

  2. Let it cool to room temperature (important so it doesn’t melt the fluff).

  3. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until smooth and fluffy.

  4. Stir in marshmallows, strawberries, and crushed pineapple.

  5. Add cottage cheese or nuts if using.

  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to set and get extra fluffy.


💡 Tips & Variations

  • For extra strawberry flavor, use strawberry Cool Whip

  • Swap strawberry Jell-O for raspberry or cherry

  • Make it pinker by adding a spoon of strawberry preserves

  • Best served cold—it thickens more as it chills
