Easy Crock Pot Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs chicken (breasts or thighs)

  • 1 cup chicken broth (or water)

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning or:

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • 1 tsp onion powder

    • ½ tsp paprika

    • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter (optional, but yum)


Instructions

  1. Add chicken to the Crock Pot
    No need to brown it—just place it in.

  2. Season
    Sprinkle seasoning evenly over the chicken.

  3. Add liquid
    Pour broth around the chicken (not directly on top if you want max flavor).

  4. Cook

    • LOW: 6–7 hours

    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
      Chicken is done when it’s tender and shreds easily.

  5. Shred or serve whole
    Use two forks to shred right in the pot, or leave whole.
