Cheesy Baked Nacho Dip
Ingredients

1 cup tortilla chips / nachos

1 tbsp oil

1 small onion (finely chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 cup cooked minced meat or boiled beans (kidney/black beans)

1 cup tomato sauce or thick salsa

½ tsp chilli powder or paprika
-
½ tsp cumin powder

Salt to taste

1½–2 cups mozzarella or cheddar cheese (grated)

2 tbsp cream or milk (optional, extra creamy)
-
Dried oregano / mixed herbs (for topping)
Method
1️⃣ Make the dip base

Heat oil in a pan.

Add onion, sauté till soft.

Add garlic, sauté till fragrant.

Add minced meat or beans + salt.

Stir in tomato sauce, chilli powder, cumin.

Cook till thick and slightly saucy.

Mix in cream if using.
2️⃣ Assemble

Transfer mixture to an oven-safe bowl.

Spread evenly.
-
Sprinkle grated cheese generously on top.

Add herbs.
3️⃣ Bake

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12–15 minutes

Until cheese is fully melted and lightly golden.
(No oven? Cover and cook on low flame till cheese melts.)
4️⃣ Serve

Place nachos around the dip (like the photo).

Serve hot and gooey 🤤🧀
