Brown Sugar Butter Baked Pork Chops
Ingredients

5–6 thick pork chops (bone-in or boneless)

5–6 tbsp brown sugar

5–6 tbsp butter, cubed

1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
Optional but great:

½ tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp paprika

Pinch thyme or rosemary

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Lightly grease a baking dish. -
Season pork chops
Sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
Arrange chops in a single layer. -
Top with sugar & butter
Spoon about 1 tbsp brown sugar onto each chop.
Place a cube of butter right on top (just like the photo). -
Bake uncovered
Bake for 30–35 minutes, until pork reaches 145°F (63°C) internally and sauce is bubbling. -
Optional glaze step
Spoon pan juices over chops and broil 2–3 minutes for extra caramelization. -
Rest & serve
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
