  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) beans (optional – kidney or white beans)

Broth & seasoning:

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
