Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Optional:

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • Chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

  • Non-stick skillet or frying pan

Instructions

1️⃣ Slice the Bananas

Peel bananas and slice into ½-inch thick rounds or cut lengthwise for larger pieces.


2️⃣ Melt Butter

Place a skillet over medium heat.
Add butter and let it melt completely.


3️⃣ Add Bananas

Place banana slices in the pan in a single layer.
Cook 2 minutes until they start to turn golden.


4️⃣ Add Sugar and Cinnamon

Sprinkle over:

  • brown sugar

  • cinnamon

  • pinch of salt

Gently flip bananas and cook another 2–3 minutes until caramelized.


5️⃣ Add Vanilla

Stir in vanilla extract and cook 1 more minute.

The sauce will become slightly thick and syrupy.
