Ingredients
For the Beef Patties

1½ lbs (680 g) ground beef

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 egg
-
1 small onion (finely chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
For the Gravy

2 cups beef broth
-
1 packet onion soup mix (or 1 tbsp onion powder + 1 tsp garlic powder)

2 tbsp ketchup
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch
-
2 tbsp water
Extras

1–2 onions sliced (for the bottom of the slow cooker)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Patties

In a bowl combine:

ground beef
-
breadcrumbs
-
egg
-
chopped onion
-
garlic
-
salt & pepper

Worcestershire sauce

Mix gently and form 6 oval patties.
2️⃣ Prepare the Slow Cooker

Spread sliced onions on the bottom of the slow cooker.
3️⃣ Add the Patties

Place the beef patties on top of the onions.
4️⃣ Make the Gravy
In a bowl mix:

beef broth
-
onion soup mix
-
ketchup
-
Worcestershire sauce
Pour the gravy mixture over the patties.
5️⃣ Cook

LOW: 5–6 hours
-
HIGH: 3–4 hours
6️⃣ Thicken the Gravy

Mix cornstarch + water.

Stir into the slow cooker during the last 20 minutes.
