Ingredients

500 g white fish fillets (hake, cod, tilapia, or dory)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko = extra crunch)

2 eggs

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

Oil for frying
Instructions

Prep the fish
Cut fish into finger-sized strips. Pat dry with paper towel. -
Season the flour
Mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl. -
Set up coating station

Bowl 1: seasoned flour

Bowl 2: beaten eggs

Bowl 3: breadcrumbs

Coat the fish
Dip each piece into flour → egg → breadcrumbs. Press crumbs in gently. -
Fry
Heat oil over medium heat. Fry fish fingers 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. -
Drain & serve
Remove and drain on paper towels.
