½ cup unsalted butter, softened

3½–4 cups powdered sugar

2 tbsp orange juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp orange zest
Instructions

Bake the cake

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9×13-inch pan.

Mix cake mix with box ingredients, replacing water with orange soda or juice.

Bake according to box directions.
