Creamy Garlic Chicken & Broccoli Rice Bowl

For the Chicken

  • 2 large chicken breasts

For the Rice & Broccoli

  • 1 cup white rice

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ยฝ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

1. Cook the Rice

  1. Rinse the rice.

  2. Add rice + 2 cups water + pinch of salt to a pot.

  4. Fluff with a fork.


2. Cook the Broccoli

  • Steam or boil broccoli for 3โ€“4 minutes until tender but bright green.

  • Drain and set aside.


3. Season & Cook the Chicken

  1. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Rub seasoning over chicken.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat.

  4. Cook chicken 5โ€“6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.

  5. Remove and slice.


4. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  1. In the same pan melt butter.

  2. Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds.

  3. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 2โ€“3 minutes.

  4. Add parmesan cheese, salt, pepper.

  5. Stir until sauce thickens.

  6. Add parsley.


5. Assemble the Bowl

  1. Add rice to bowl.

  2. Place broccoli on the sides.

  3. Add sliced chicken on top.

  4. Pour creamy garlic sauce over everything.
