Crispy Garlic Butter Chicken
Ingredients
For crispy chicken

400 g boneless chicken (small cubes)

1 egg
-
3 tbsp cornflour
-
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp red chilli powder (optional)
-
Salt to taste

Oil for frying
For garlic butter sauce
-
3 tbsp butter (salted preferred)
-
1 tbsp oil
-
8–10 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
-
1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp soy sauce (optional, Indo-Chinese style)
-
1 tbsp water (if needed)
-
Spring onions / coriander for garnish
Method
1️⃣ Fry the chicken

Mix chicken with egg, cornflour, maida, pepper, chilli powder, salt.

Heat oil on medium-high flame.

Fry chicken till golden & crispy.
-
Remove and keep aside.
💡 For extra crunch: double-fry for 1 minute on high heat.
2️⃣ Make garlic butter sauce

Heat a pan on low flame.
-
Add butter + oil.
-
Add chopped garlic, sauté till fragrant (don’t brown).
-
Add chilli flakes, pepper, soy sauce.
-
Add 1 tbsp water if sauce feels too thick.
3️⃣ Toss chicken

Add crispy chicken to the pan.
-
Toss gently on low flame for 30–60 seconds only.

Switch off heat immediately.
Serve Hot

Garnish with spring onions or coriander.

Serve as starter or with fried rice / noodles 🤤🔥
