10-Minute Garlic Parmesan Pasta
Ingredients (serves 1–2)

Pasta (any kind)

2 tbsp olive oil or butter

2–3 garlic cloves, minced

Chilli flakes (optional but elite)

Salt & black pepper

Grated Parmesan (or any hard cheese)

Splash of pasta water
Method

Boil pasta
Salt the water like the sea. Cook pasta according to packet. -
Make the sauce
While it cooks, heat oil/butter in a pan.
Add garlic + chilli flakes, cook 30–60 seconds (don’t brown). -
Combine
Reserve a mug of pasta water, then drain pasta.
Add pasta to the pan with a splash of pasta water and toss. -
Finish
Take off heat, add lots of Parmesan, crack of black pepper, toss again.
Optional glow-ups (30 seconds each)

Add lemon zest or a squeeze of lemon 🍋

Throw in spinach or frozen peas

Crack an egg in at the end for creamy carbonara vibes

Top with crispy breadcrumbs if you’re feeling fancy
