🍞 Homemade Bread in the Air Fryer (Easy + Soft)
Ingredients

1 cup warm milk (not hot)

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp instant yeast

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ tsp salt

1 tbsp oil or melted butter
Instructions

Activate the yeast
Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit 5–10 minutes until foamy. -
Make the dough
Add flour, salt, and oil. Mix until a soft dough forms. -
Knead
Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
(A little sticky is okay—don’t over-flour.) -
First rise
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled. -
Shape
Punch down, shape into a small round or loaf that fits your air fryer basket or pan. -
Second rise
Let it rest 20 minutes. -
Air fry

Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C)

Place dough in a greased, air-fryer-safe pan

Cook 12–15 minutes

Flip carefully and cook another 5–7 minutes until golden

Cool
Brush with butter if you’re feeling fancy. Cool before slicing (hardest step).
