Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 4 tbsp butter, softened (or melted)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • Optional: pinch of nutmeg

  • Optional glaze:

    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

    • 1–2 tbsp milk

    • 1/4 tsp vanilla


Instructions

1️⃣ Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Roll & spread

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

  • Spread each triangle with butter.

3️⃣ Add filling

  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.

  • Spread evenly over each triangle.

4️⃣ Shape

You can:

  • Roll up from the wide end (classic crescent), or

  • Roll into logs and twist, or

  • Leave flat as cinnamon triangles (like in your photo).

5️⃣ Bake

  • Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

6️⃣ Optional glaze

  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.

  • Drizzle over warm pastries.


✨ Upgrade Ideas

  • Add chopped pecans

  • Add a thin layer of cream cheese under the cinnamon

  • Use Nutella instead of cinnamon sugar
