Crunchy, cheesy, and packed with taco flavor — perfect for potlucks, game days, or an easy weeknight dinner.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped

  • 1–2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained & rinsed

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ½ red onion, diced

  • 1 bag (9–10 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos, lightly crushed

  • 1 cup Catalina or French dressing

Optional add-ins:

  • Sour cream

  • Sliced black olives

  • Corn

  • Diced avocado

  • Salsa


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the beef

    • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.

    • Drain excess grease.

    • Stir in taco seasoning and ½ cup water.

    • Simmer 3–5 minutes. Let cool slightly.

  2. Assemble the salad

    • In a large bowl combine lettuce, cheese, beans, tomatoes, onion, and cooled beef.

    • Add crushed Doritos.

  3. Dress & serve

    • Pour dressing over salad and toss gently.

    • Serve immediately for maximum crunch.
